As the digital age continues to shape the landscape of media and communication, Adtalem's esteemed institutions have risen to the occasion, reshaping the artistic landscape through their impactful contributions.
The Telly Awards, led by the Telly Judging Council, spotlight the best video work spanning all screens. During a record-breaking year for entries. Adtalem Global Education, Walden University, and Chamberlain University took home four total awards and were honored alongside global powerhouses and independent production houses alike for media excellence.
The Viddy Awards, administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, is “one of the oldest, largest, and most respected awards programs in the video industry.” Two teams within Adtalem’s Learnovation department, the Interactive Experiences (IE) team and Immersive Learner Experiences (ILX) team, took home 12 awards. They were showcased alongside notable businesses and individuals who are continuing to evolve and optimize video technology.

The Importance of User-Centered Design
Adtalem won a Telly Gold Award for “User-Centered Design” in the Motion Graphics/Design category.
Created for the Learnovation Team Townhall, this video explains the concept and importance of user-centered design in a fun and engaging way.

The Harmful Effects of Cherry-Picking
Chamberlain University won a Telly Bronze Award for “Cherry-Picking” in the Art Direction category.
The custom hand drawn, limited animation was created for Chamberlain’s ENGL148: Advanced English Composition course and effectively conveys what it is to "cherry-pick" sources in research and writing and how the habit is a disservice to students' long-term development.

Adtalem won a Telly Bronze Award for “Interactive Experience Team Tour: What does our team do?” in the Employee Communications category.
This animated, interactive branching experience was designed for the Learnovation Team Townhall to explain what the Interactive Experiences team does for internal partners. The video also serves to inspire colleagues to try new things in media and interactive content development.

Optimizing Criminal Case Studies
The IE Team was given an Honorable Mention for Walden University’s "Criminal Justice: Case Study 6" in the Short Form Web Videos > Education category.
This video combines stock images with video editing effects. A series of case study videos in Walden University course CRJS 8140 were used to help prompt students to choose one of two ethical dilemmas and then apply course content and their knowledge to their chosen dilemma. The videos assisted in introducing the dilemmas.
