Last fall, the islands of Sint Maarten and Dominica were hit by devastating hurricanes. Though Adtalem Global Education worked tirelessly to ensure that our faculty, staff and students were evacuated from the islands to safety, our family from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and the Ross University School of Medicine sustained significant damage to their homes and in many cases, lost all their belongings.

In response to these disasters, the Adtalem Assistance Fund was created to support those affected. The Adtalem family, as well as external donors, came together to donate in support of our faculty, staff and students. A dedicated committee carefully evaluated requests for support, and we have provided the means to proactively assist 240 colleagues and students in their time of need.
